Respect Life Month
October: Respect Life Month
Since 1973, October has been honored by the Church as Respect Life Month. The Archdiocese of St. Louis will begin Respect Life Month with the Annual Respect Life Conference, “Hope in the Gospel of Life” Sat, Oct. 4 at the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury. Starts at 9:00 am, includes Holy Mass and Rosary, lunch. $25 for adults, $10 for teens, free for priests & religious. Contact [email protected] or 314-792-7555.
October 5 is Respect Life Sunday. The Life Chain is held that day throughout the Archdiocese and America from 2 – 3 pm. We will stand at St. Elizabeth Parish along S. Sappington Rd. Please gather in the church parking lot. We stand united in prayer for America. We have signs that say:
- Life: the first inalienable right
- Pray to change hearts
- Adoption: the loving option
For all ages, including families (watch young children carefully). If you can’t stand for an hour, bring a lawn chair. Also bring your rosary--this is Our Lady's month, and the rosary is our great spiritual weapon.
If you are new to the area or a new parishioner to our church, please stop by the parish office to register or click here to download registration information. We look forward to meeting with you personally.
We hope that you find a home here among friends who pray and work together.

Oh Come Let Us Adore Him...
Brothers and sisters, do not be afraid to welcome Christ and accept his power. Help the Pope and all those who wish to serve Christ and with Christ's power to serve the human person and the whole of mankind. Do not be afraid. Open wide the doors for Christ.
